Rachelle and Ollie are Kiwis from Dunedin and Timaru. Having lived in Queenstown for 5 years and now settled in Pisa Moorings.

We started Vanscape in 2023 out of our love for getting creative, building campers and kiwi Vanlife as a whole - all beginning with our trusty van “Vanessa”.

Ten + years experience travelling NZ means we have much to offer in the way of tips and tricks, and would love to help you plan the best trip ever!

We love all things outdoors, a big one for us - Snowboarding! And collecting cool rocks!

Our goal is to offer the coolest vans on the market, and help you have the best experience of the epic New Zealand Vanscape.

Managing director here at Vanscape, Ollie also brings mechanical knowledge and creative construction to the table!

Our vans are kept in tip top mechanical condition thanks to:

A lifetime of experience in the automotive industry, qualified to level 5 in Automotive engineering, a motorsport background and 5 years working in motorsport for Paddon Racing Group - travelling NZ and Australia as a technician for New Zealand’s top male and female competitive drivers - Hayden Paddon and Emma Gilmour.

Ollie

Creative manager and director here at Vanscape, Rach brings wild ideas and textiles experience to the table!

Decorating is key to a cool van, as is fancy curtains and bed coverings! Not only at the sewing machine though - she is often spotted with all manner of power tools at full noise.

A lifetime of experience in the hair, makeup and fashion industry - winning countless awards and competitions for her creativity and style, she also manages the CACI skin care clinic in Cromwell.

Project overseer, Procrastination Engineer and Treat connoisseur - Gus brings life to the party where ever he goes. Often spotted on site approving the build process, or greeting guests at handovers. Subject to treat attendance.
